My Favorite Things:
- Curling up with some peppermint tea and God’s word. There are few things that comfort me more.
- Praying
- Going to Church. I get so much encouragement from my Christian family.
- Spending time with Dallas Reese. He has been such a blessing in my life and I thank God for him and his family daily.
- Visiting my family in Va., I miss them so much while I’m in school.
- Working with and teaching little ones. Most of the time they end up teaching me a lesson or two.
- Meeting the Church family in Jamaica!
- I love Dr. Willingham and Roxy Wishum’s counseling classes. I get so much out of them. I look forward to every class with them.
- Making smores in the fireplace when the power goes out. My siblings and I did this with my parents when we were younger.
- Laying out on the trampling at night with my brothers and catching up with each other as we watch for falling stars.
- Talking to my dad while I’m here at school. He has a nice level head that calms my not so level one down.
- Getting random calls from my grandparents! I love them and miss them dearly.
- Receiving letters. Hand written ones are the best!
- Subway. This might just about be my favorite place to eat. It’s cheap, it can be healthy and it’s good.
- Long walks. It’s hard to do that here at Faulkner and it’s not really safe either. I love getting to go home and take long walks down the country roads, or down to the river.
- Nature hikes. I know this is very similar to the above comment. I really like going on hiking trails with family and friends. I would live outside if I could. ;)
- Mountains! They are just so beautiful.
- Having someone braid my hair. I love getting my hair braided. I can never seem to braid my own and it come out right. : P
- Wash dishes by hand when I’m bored and want the chore to take a bit longer.
- Sitting at home in front of a fire on a cold winter day…
- Play in the snow! We get plenty in Virginia; it’s a rare treat in Alabama.
- Hot cider
- Fall weather
- Holding hands
- Singing. This really should be somewhere near the top of the list.
- Music! I love riding around town with the windows rolled down and the music up maybe just a bit too loud, singing right along to the songs that I know (awful habit I know).
- Wearing sandals. Any shoe where you don’t have to wear socks is a wonderful thing for me.
- Blue jeans
- Dresses
- Earrings of all different kinds, big or little and any color.
- Hair bands on my wrist. It’s convenient ;)
- Going to the humane shelter with Bethany and playing with the kittens.
- Coloring…I know, I should have kicked this one a long time ago. There is a reason behind this one. You see; I can’t draw at all. I really have no artistic abilities what so ever…unless you are talking about Stamp It Up. Anyway, to make a long story short. I love coloring books. Every picture turns out great as long as you stay in the lines ;)
- Stamp It Up! It’s a company that functions like pampered chief or creative memory. Only it sells everything that you will need to make the most beautiful cards ever. I would spend an afternoon just making cards if I could.
- Washing laundry. I love the way clean clothes smell.
- Bath and Body works. The problem is I never stay with the same smell. When ever I run out of one, I always pick a different one. I still love the first one; I just like the change I guess.
- Candles. My favorite is Hazel Nut, or Peach Cobbler.
- Granola. I love how it smells up the whole apartment when I make it.
- Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays with the family. I always have special memories from them.
- Peppermints.
- Big purses
- Silly pictures
- Waking up for work in the morning and hearing Bethany’s music from across the hall. We both like to listen to music, as we get ready for the day.
- Game night in the Apartment with Phase 10
- Cinnamon flavored gum
- French Vanilla latté
- Chi Tea
- Sunday Night Bible Singing
- Watching Alabama football with Bethany and Kelsey.
- Fuzzy or Wool socks. These are the only kinds of socks that I like wearing.
